Several customers have purchased our regular wool pads for shoe insoles items and told me they were using the sheepskin for their dogs toys and training aides. So now here is a listing just that purpose!

TWO LARGE pieces of real sheepskin wool-on-leather hide. These are the belly areas leftover from our sheepskin hides used in our equestrian and medical products sewing business. You will receive ONE Piece in BLACK Sheepskin and ONE Piece in BROWN sheepskin. These have a one-inch wool pile with the real leather backing just as Mother Nature intended.

If you have an agressive chewing dog or puppy - these sheepskin scraps make a nice alternative to having expensive sewn toys destroyed. There are NO seams or stitches or squeakers or stuffing to tear apart. Your pet will have hours of fun tossing, tugging, and picking at the wool as if they are playing with another real animal! From personal experience one of our rescued dogs, Sadie, loves to carry her sheepskin strip around ~ dangling from her mouth like a pacifier!

You will receive TWO SHEEPSKIN sections. One each in Black & Brown. Size varies as the sheep varied but you should get something at least 8 to 12 inches long x 3 to 6 inches wide. MOST PIECES ARE EVEN BIGGER! YOU CAN CUT THEM WITH SCISSORS OR A RAZOR KNIFE TO CREAT SMALLER SIZED PIECES.

THICKNESS AND SIZES WILL VARY! These are non-toxic and washable. Yes, they are dyed to this color. (All our Australian Merino sheepskin tanned hides get coloring to even out the shades of the sheep wool.)
