Size and shapes vary as the sheep and their hides are each different. So will the thickness of the wool. You must tell me what your project will be so I can hand-select the best pieces for you! I cannot ship until you message me these details!!!!
Some pieces are wider and longer. These are the belly areas cut-off from our full sheepskin hides. leftovers from our when we hand-trace and hand-cut our sheepksin saddle seat cushions and CONSUMER comfort products.

These belly area pieces are not as thickly wooled as the full hide but for most people these will make very nice padding for where you want to use them.
-Sew them together for a chair or pet bed pad.
Several customers have used them to pad braces and limb replacements. Others use them to prevent bed sores.
I have personally used them to make shoe insoles by tracing the outline of my boots on the leather side and then cutting what I need with a razor knife or sharp scissors. If you flip your shoe sole pattern over to the toe of one shoe is beside the heel of your other shoe - you may squeeze an extra insole out of the piece!
-Over the winter I used two pieces to make custom sheepskin linings for my plastic Croc shoes!
You can cut and glue or sew anything from these sheepskin pieces!
-One customers is in Iraq and used the sheepskin to line his web gear.
Other customers have purchased them to repair bomber jackets, hats, and lined their re-enactor gear from the Roman ages thru the medieval days to the more modern civil war and old west living history groups.
I know someone will write me asking if these are good for motorcycle seat covers. In my 'picky' opinion, they are better than a hot leather seat. However you'll have to sew them together and In the rating of thickness I would give these an average of 5 to 7 score out of 10 being the thickest.
