This is the same product as our Medical Ivory color sheepskin pad but this is dyed a pleasing GREEN color.
I SELL ONLY THE LARGE SIZE! (Unlike other companies offering lesser quality, smaller sizes.) EACH PAD VARIES IN SHAPE as the sheep varied. BUT MOST WILL AVERAGE 8 1/2 - 9 SQUARE FEET OVERALL. Average LENGTH 36 to 42 inches. Average WIDTH at the butt-end 30 - 35 inches. The wool is trimmed to a one-inch length. Approximate weight per pad is three pounds.

Proven to prevent bedsores, and help healing. Your loved one will sleep like a baby on our sheepskin medical pads.
We also sell these for older dogs & cats to rest on. A horse doctor purchased one to line the sling for a horse recuperating from abdominal surgery.
QUALITY, REAL SHEEPSKIN PADS ARE RATED # L-333 THROUGH THE INTERNATIONAL WOOL BUREAU FOR NON-FLAMMABILITY. Average weight per pad is 3.5 pounds.
REAL SHEEPSKIN IS ONE OF THE FEW FABRICS ALLOWED BY THE FAA TO COVER AIRPLANE SEATS FOR PILOTS BECAUSE OF IT'S NON-FLAMMABILITY. (Try that with those foam egg-crates - they ignite at a flame lick.)

I have supplied these for my relatives and friends facing long term inactivity. Everyone has been satisfied.
They can be used on recliners, wheelchairs, beds, rockers, car seats, benches, whatever and where ever they can fit!
Customers have bought them to line mobility slings and foot rests. Several have used them to line the inside of artificial limbs.
BABIES ALSO BENEFIT FROM THIS SAME PAD. MEDICAL TESTS SHOW INFANTS SLEEP EASIER FROM STROLLER TO BASSINET TO PLAY PEN TO BED WHEN THEY HAVE THEIR FAMILIAR AND COMFY "SHEEPSKIN INFANT CARE RUG." WITH GOOD REST, PREMATURE INFANTS HAVE THE ENERGY TO EAT AND GAIN WEIGHT FASTER FOR HEALTHIER GROWTH.
THESE PADS CAN BE WASHED - FOLLOWING OUR DIRECTIONS: Care instructions are simple: WHEN THINKING ABOUT SHEEPSKIN, THINK ABOUT A HEALTHY HEAD OF HAIR. Brush often, hand-wash in lukewarm water, rinse well, air dry. (in the case of wool, NO HEAT.) I've found the best cleaner is regular SHAMPOO's with BUILT-IN CONDITIONER. Or, CLEAR GLYCERIN SOAP works great too. Do NOT USE Woolite or detergents! DO NOT use hot water or dryer heat settings. Roll the freshly washed sheepskin in a towel to squeeze out the excess water. (Like hand washing a fine sweater.) Lay the sheepskin over a chair or sofa to air dry. When they are nearly dry you can toss them into a dryer on a NO HEAT setting to let the tumbling action soften the leather side and fluff up the wool. I'VE BEEN USING MY PAD FOR OVER 35 YRS. IT'S BEEN WASHED MANY TIMES.
BRUSHING THE WOOL FIBERS, GIVING A QUICK SHAKE, OR VACUUMING IN BETWEEN USE WILL KEEP YOUR PAD FULL AND FLUFFY FOR YEARS OF PAMPERING!
Idea! Purchase 2 of these and for just $20.00 sewing charge we will sew hook and loop fasteners to the leather side of the wide-end to make one EXTRA-LONG sheepskin pad. Super handy for the tall individual! Yet, easy to separate and wash if one gets soiled. Message me at [email protected] if you are interested in this when you purchase.
I personally travel with my own sheepskin pad. It helps me sleep no matter how uncomfortable the hotel room bed might feel. I've also been the envy of other flyers when I line my airplane seat with my sheepskin pad. It's comfortable and sanitary! Plus, you can sling the sheepskin over a car seat for quick comfort on hot or cold days.
