Sometimes we get a sheepskin pelt that has flaws in it making it not suited for our product line but EXCELLENT for other projects like CUSHIONING a MOTORCYCLE SEAT, RECLINER, WHEELCHAIR, or OFFICE CHAIR PAD. Warming a DOG's BED, or covering a cold FLOOR as a rug.

The item you are purchasing is real WOOL-on-LEATHER tanned and dyed sheepskin hide with a one-inch wool pile. It measures apx 8-9 square feet. The overall dimensions vary but usually are within: 33-39 inches from the longest points lengthwise x 30-33 inches across at the butt-end, 23-26 inches across at the belly mid-section, 22-26 inches across at the neck. Merino Sheep shapes differ just like people do so each hide is UNIQUE in shape and dimensions. Average pelt weight is three pounds.
You could make slippers, boots, or vests. It can be used to re-line sheepskin collars or make your own special back-pack pads, purse, gun case liner, etc. They are washable following our instructions which will be included on the back of the items packing list.
